Half comic book about alcoholic depression and the recovery thereof, half recorded music of the band featured in the comic. The music itself is nothing too special, but the comic provides an interesting commentary. Being into music but not being an alcohol consumer sometimes feels like a lot. Some people straight-up don’t understand why you wouldn’t want to drink. The number of scenarios where one has to consciously avoid alcohol are so numerous and something a lot of people in and around the scene would probably never notice. Art-wise, there are some panels that could use the work. Sometimes the artist draws faces that overlap one another and the coloring doesn’t make it clear where one face ends and another begins. Overall, a pretty interesting read. Grade: B. –Bryan Static (jmelkmanncomics@gmail.com)
