I’m not certain how I first came across the idea of taking photos of the backs of people’s jackets. I hate being packed tight in a crowd, so I must have been bored, carrying a camera to shows and only taking pictures of bands from a hundred feet away. Anyhow, every other Sunday, I plan on posting nine new ones, compiled into one big pic for you to peruse.

For my first collection for Razorcake, I’m showcasing jackets with some classic acts and a few unknown bands. In the first row, there is Joy Division, Nausea, and a beautiful Misfits/Undead hand-drawn leather jacket. Row two has early British punks Eater, some amazingly detailed hand-drawn insanity for the Aussie thrash metal band Vomitor, and a jacket featuring a lesser known band from my original hometown of Miami, Sandratz (sandratzzz.bandcamp.com). For the third row, I caught two from Discharge, and ended on a hilariously awesome Slayer/Richard Pryor parody.
